WELCOME to the first edition of AHH News and Notes! Here we will share events, information, inspiration, prayer requests, needs, and experiences in the lives of those who call Helping Hands their temporary home. It is our desire to keep you abreast of the happenings in and around the shelter. We hope that as you see our stories of Blessings and struggles being overcome you will join us in praise and prayers. That through this sharing of information, you will give thoughts to keep us in your prayers and perhaps search for ways that you can help us along the way.
As a nonprofit, Albany Helping Hands is dependent on donations for every aspect of day-to-day life at the shelter. Everything from our food (3 meals a day plus snacks), hygiene supplies, laundry supplies, to our clothing, giveaways are made possible because of supporters generously donating.
